BIOGAS
IBT Group’s applications, thanks to the utilization of Capstone’s technology, ensure maximum efficiency in the exploitation of biogas from landfill or anaerobic digester. The operation of the oil-free turbines in cogeneration with this fuel is very convenient. Additionally, the waste heat produced by cogeneration via fumes/water exchange may be utilized for the digesters’ heating.

MAX EFFICIENCY ALSO WITH “DEFICIENT” BIOGAS
In addition to cogeneration’s benefits, Capstone’s turbines can operate also with “deficient” biogas (with methane percentages up to 30%) or with fluctuating loads and have a high resistance to corrosive agents: H2S < 5000 ppmv. Furthermore, they ensure low maintenance costs, contained installation spaces and near-zero emissions in the atmosphere.
